Most men don’t think of a bed and breakfast when they are looking to do a golf package, but why not?
Our family owns a historic bed and breakfast in the Pinehurst area of North Carolina and we have golf groups that come year after year. Why? because it is like one big frat house to enjoy golf, camaraderie and fun!
In the morning they wake up to a big hearty homemade breakfast and then head out for one of the 43 golf courses in the Pinehurst area. After a long day on the links they come home to a clean room, smoke their cigars and have a drink on our front porch and enjoy the lovely Sandhills weather. We either serve them a private homemade dinner or make reservations at one of the many fantastic restaurants in the area. They play cards at night, go for a run around the town or watch a sporting event on cable TV. The last night of their stay they have an auction or close out all bets made on the course. The atmosphere is homey, private and fun. For couples and ladies golf groups B&B’s are elegant, safe, romantic and friendly. B&B’s are truly a great way to enjoy your next golf vacation.
